Golden Days 04:07
Saying yes is better than saying sorry And worse yet, the latter could leave you so far away Are you ready for the way it was? Can you remember that long ago? Waking up with the sunlight Sleeping through the sound of snow And one day I'll see you when we're all done Running our own marathon (The elders have begun) I hope to God he'll find you and send you home Is it too much to ask for? Tell me so I know I'd like to think we all control our self reliance But better yet, we throw all caution to the three headed lion Time and space are meaningless Unless this race of rats is truly as far as we should go So are you ready for the golden days? Do you think that you could make it last? One false move is deadly We're all supposed to earn the chance We'll meet you along the road When all of us are battered (Looking down the gun) Storms may present themselves But we will seek out shelter I'd hope to see that you've had more sunny days than cold ones But i know that you've still got that poison in your brain A clear head is invaluable, keep focus, the lion waits in hiding Till we get jaded, thinking this is all we know I know I'll see this through till the rains come down to drown this place Don't you think I'd be there to if I never got to know that grace? (I've heard it said) I've heard it said that we can make it out alive I hope they're right, I hope they're right (I know I said) I know I said to you that I would make it home tonight But I wasn't right, I wasn't right

Seadog 03:12
Wading, shifting through the tidal motion Staying the course and always pushing onward One day when it all is crystal clear to you, You'll know the grit was worth the effort in the sloppy acts of kindness that you would show And I could say that I've done all that i could to keep the vessel floating, to keep it overflowing Back when this all started, who knew the winds would wisp away and keep the sails from heading westward And then you went ahead and set the course for the heart of an iceberg, and yet it would be you that's treading water in an endless ocean Waves on waves on sandy beaches, swimming in the sun with no second guessing Way back when this all started, who knew the winds of change would flow in and stop the rays from reaching dry land 13 years of bad luck, a simple fix when the burden doesn't have an option Wind swept, carried us away Looking back it's hard to notice why the problems kept us down and out and slipping under I hope you find whatever it is that sets the sun on fire My only hope is stopping the setting sun from getting tired

Wake up, and stop procrastinating Cause dont you see that time is Not on your side and always slowly fading Get the fuck up, grab your passion Cause tomorrow might not happen I don't believe any, cant believe anything, that they say to me Cause in my gut I know that we will carry on past the threshold of this decay. Shut up, and listen to the echos Why cant you hear them singing That this life goes on, and that time is endless So get your shit and lets go There may not be tomorrow When the silver chord breaks know that its not the end Everything ends up new And all the time you're spending was just for you To see this through I don't believe any, cant believe anything, that they say to me Cause in my gut I know that we will carry on past the threshold of this decay Wake up, and stop procrastinating Cause don't you see that time is Not on your side and always slowly fading Get the fuck up, grab your passion Cause tomorrow might not happen When the silver chord breaks know that its not the end Everything ends up new And all the time you're spending was just for you To see this through

Swanson 03:47
Searching for the pathways Neurons firing in the dark Gremlins in the alleyways, holding back the arch It's been so long since the sun's been displayed Holding out for some better days Pushing back all the draining pressure Lets the voice of the light to enter Our minds, so potent and so fragile Running down these hallways just looking for an answer Alive but hardly more than breathing Potential lies in the art of seeing That one day is the smallest worry And the weeks and the months and years they keep on going I just wanted to say When you find the reason for being here Things just get easier And time will flow on in every direction Choose the least resistant intention When you know the purpose of this Things can change as fast as the weather If the dark attempts to resist, Temptation lacks a sense of compassion For our lives or anyone around us Running you down always, shutting out your laughter We've all seen complications But there'd be no Phoenix without the ashes Asking why every day And lacking hope in the grand display Yet the story goes on. And the truth simply will not stop telling the tale. When you find your reason for being here Everything falls into place And time still flows out with no exceptions Take the path that's lit with expression

Return to the mainframe, spewing lines of higher purpose When it's said this path is wrought with failure, the outcome lights the spark of identity Wishing on the distant stars to give us all the answers Waiting on those messages won't tell you what you need They'll give you hints and tricks and numbers These truths run deeper than just the surface Molten earth creates the lowest depths we'll reach for Burning in your stomach till you know it's only greed Slowly you realize, we create this earth and our lives Swallow your pride, stand and learn the lessons they're giving Futures wait for no one, look into the past and watch the presence retrograde And without action, dreaming will get you nowhere. Caught up in the sky and floating to the end of all days Hit the ground running with your sharpest tools in tow Make the impact and leave no questions unanswered. The cycle repeats until we know to pull ourselves through the other side Blinded. We seek the underlying causes But the truth is we see only what we choose Though the overwhelming forces love to watch you lose Vibrant. When it hits you like a brick. Was the secret there the whole time? Right there in plain sight? So obvious, the answer. Open an eye to the world and let your words float in the mist

All of the time we are exposed We know we're not alone Some of the time we find the cause To fight the under toe Searching for the answers We run into the darkest fucking nights To find the cure For who we are And what we are is angry And what we see is empty We'll fight this night And flip the lights Why is everybody so dead inside Cause I, I hear them lying The truth is we do what we are Creeping down these hallways We laugh into the face of tradition Lets break the ice We shall suffice And we can over come them Passing through the dimensions They think we're nice They will unwind Searching for the answers We run into the darkest fucking nights To find the cure For who we are And what we are is angry And what we see is empty We'll fight this night And flip the lights Why is everybody so dead inside Cause I, I hear them lying The truth is we do what we are I, I'll leave the light on for you this time Cause I, I see you trying The best gift is the sacrifice
